Went for a visit and one of the free tours. What an amazing place. They are slowly slowly getting the work done and it's just gorgeous all the work they've done. If you get. Cancel definitely pop in for a coffee and if you have time do the tour!

Absolutely joy to visit. It's fantastic to see this beautiful old venue been restored to its former glory by a team of dedicated volunteers with an amazing passion for this wonderful piece of history that was almost lost forever, it's worth a visit at the weekend and have a guided tour and show your support.

I love that they are renovating this beautiful old building. I went last Saturday and had tea and sandwiches. So nice to sit and just enjoy the building. On the sad side I was talked into getting a bottle of their gin, I didn’t have a bag so the lady came back with one . But sadly as I walked back to my car the handle snapped and the bag dropped to the floor smashing the gin. So as much as I would have like to give you a review for that as well , I can’t 😞

Lovely volunteers, they welcomed you with a big smile. There you can enjoy music while take a coffe, and so you support the restauration work, which the place is going through!

A fabulously decorative Victorian building being restored and cared for by dedicated volunteers, preserving this historic venue for the people of Morecambe and visitors. From the Ruabon red terracotta frontage. Then the truly amazing tile, faience and mosaic entrance foyer and staircases. Leading through to the main auditorium with its remarkable decorative plasterwork. Perhaps the finest example of a late Victorian theatre in the country.

The trust are doing a great job of restoration of this beautiful building well worth a visit if you are in the area .also do a good reasonably priced cream tea or snacks in the tea room all profits go to help with restoration costs all staffed by volunteers.

Unique building, undergoing painfully slow restoration (due to inevitable funding issues) - but well done to the volunteers running it. Built as a concert hall / theatre, the scale is massive. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and informative. I am not sure that I like all their plans (the aim is to leave it in a 'distressed' state, so that the works are visible, but I feel that simply looks unfinished), however I wish them every success in getting this magnificent survivor back up and running.
